Dany Green is a lecturer in forensic science specialising in biological anthropology. For more than 19 years, she has inspired students of all ages through hands-on workshops exploring science, forensic investigation, and the stories hidden within evidence.
Passionate about making science accessible, exciting, and fun, Dany created Sherlock Bone and Scotty Watson to introduce young readers to the fascinating world of forensic science.
Through mysteries, experiments, puzzles, and detective challenges, her books encourage children to think critically, analyse evidence, and experience the thrill of scientific discovery for themselves.
When she isn't teaching, writing, or developing new forensic adventures, Dany can often be found exploring local history, researching unusual mysteries, gardening, scouting or spending time with her beloved Scotty and Westie.
The Sherlock Bone & Scotty Watson series combines storytelling, science, history, and hands-on investigation to inspire the next generation of Junior Detectives.
